Nichole Case LLMSW
Before we can understand others, we must first seek to understand ourselves. Life is traumatic no matter what we have or haven’t been through. I’ve been there. Judged. Shamed. Scared. Paralyzed. Overwhelmed. Checked out. Emotionally exhausted. Avoiding. Escaping with drugs, food, or gambling. Living in the moment, rather than the depression of the past or the anxiety of the future, is a skill to be learned and practiced. I am committed to the dialectical concept that humans cannot be put into a specific box and are complex beings where two opposing things can be true at the same time. You are not lazy, not a failure, not a loser, and not broken. You are enough. You have worth. You have value. You are already okay. Therapy is a collaborative relationship based on trust and willingness to change. My goal is to help cultivate a mindset of growth.
