Rachel Hoppe
My goal is to provide compassionate, collaborative care for individuals across the lifespan, creating a space where children, teens, and adults can feel heard, understood, and supported. I specialize in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) for children and adolescents who have experienced difficult or painful events. My goal is to help young people build coping skills, process their experiences at a pace that feels safe, and strengthen their sense of resilience. I also work with adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions, drawing on evidence-based approaches to guide the process. My work is informed by training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Polyvagal Theory, which help me support clients in developing emotional regulation, increasing mind–body awareness, and building practical skills for daily life. I continually strive to be warm and approachable, while grounded in professional expertise. I believe therapy is a partnership where your strengths are highlighted, your safety and story are honored, and healing is always possible. If you or your child are looking for support, I would be honored to help you build capacity for resilience, connection, and meaningful change. I was honored to receive the Red Hot Best 2025 designation for Best Therapist in the Kalkaska, Gaylord, and Grayling area before transitioning to work in Traverse City this year.
